Flexible stone is made from a thin layer of natural stone (slate, sandstone, marble, or quartzite) bonded to a fiberglass-reinforced backing. The result is a sheet of real stone — under 2mm thick — that can be cut with scissors, bent around columns, and applied to curved furniture.
